Permanent exhibition
The permanent exhibition illustrates the role of the judiciary during the National Socialist dictatorship (1933–1945), the Soviet Occupation (1945–1950) and the Early GDR (1945–1957). Over 700 photographs, drawings, objects, and documents are presented. Contemporary witnesses recount their experiences at media stations. The exhibition focuses on selected fates of people from various victim groups and periods of persecution who were tried, imprisoned, or executed in Dresden.
Beyond the permanent exhibition, visitors can learn about the history of the former judicial complex with the help of an orientation system on the grounds and in the surrounding buildings.
The exhibition in the Georg Schumann Building of the TU Dresden is directly accessible from Münchner Platz.
