Library

A small library is located on the premises of the Foundation office. Its holdings include over 3,500 publications. Most of these publications focus on the National Socialist period, the Soviet occupation zone and the German Democratic Republic. However, you will also find material on the critical appraisal of these dictatorships, on the culture of remembrance and on the educational theory of memorial sites. You will always find the respective current edition of the following journals: Deutschland Archiv, Zeitschrift für Geschichtsdidaktik, Zeitschrift für Geschichtswissenschaft, Vierteljahreszeitschrift für Zeitgeschichte and Dresdner Hefte.
The titles have been entered in an electronic database that can be searched online.
